Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today is St. Patrick's Day, a small holiday that is often over looked.  As children, we made sure we dressed in something green to avoid being pinched at school.  The boys would try to be clever and attach a piece of green paper to their clothing.  They just thought they were smart.  As we get older as adults, we often forget the fun times from childhood that made days like today special.  Franklin Graham reminded us today that it is not all about wearing green.  Saint Patrick was a courageous and fervent Irishman who brought his nation to Christ and spread Christianity to his countrymen.  As a nation, we are facing something we have never seen: a country so worried about the spread of the Coronavirus.  I think that we should not be so worried about spreading the virus, but should focus on spreading Christianity like Saint Patrick.  Jesus told his disciples, and his words apply to Christians today, in Matthew 28: 19-20,  "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Let that be our focus!

XOXO Erin, Sarah, and Cricket!
